On their website, tobaccofromspain claim that they will send a replacement order, if UK Customs seize the goods on arrival in the UK. This sounds very fair, but after 10 unanswered emails, it becomes obvious that this is just an empty promise.
This website is a scam to lure UK residents into a false sense of security. They cannot supply to the UK legally, as purchasing from them, via the Internet, is classed by UK Customs & Excise as “Distance Selling”. This means that tobaccofromspain must declare the contents and pay UK Duty & VAT, when dispatching the goods. They are well aware of this and fail to declare the contents of their packages, but still take your money, knowing that the goods will be seized on arrival here.
